I have coached and given acting seminars around the U.S. for over 20 years. I graduated from University of Richmond with a Theatre Arts and Communications B.A. degree. I have been a professional actress for over 30 years and am a member of SAG-AFTRA and Equity. My on the job training includes Improv having worked at the Groundling in L.A., I have taught acting at Summer Camps, Seminars and as staff at the Sta. Clarita School of Performing Arts. I have appeared in many network TV show and Commercials. My IMDB is: (concealed information) I am also an experienced casting director with over 450 commericals, infomercials and shows to my credit. As far as methodology goes, I adapt to each project and student. We work together to find what works best as each actor is unique.
I have taught one on one and larger group lessons depending on the situation. As each student is uniquely talented I prefer to find the method that best suits that individual. Some work better as method actors, others use emotional recall, still others like spontaneity, we find the best way together to make you the best and most bookable actor we can! This should be fun not drudgery. I often receive notes telling me how my tricks, tips and teaching methodologies have increased confidence in the casting office and thereby bookings!
