I have a certification in documentary photography and photojournalism from the International Center of Photography in Manhattan. During this time period, I learned professional techniques in regards to all street photography, photojournalism, lighting, composition, editing, processing, and sequencing of images.
I am currently a professional fine artist photographer, but while I was in New York I also acted as a high school assistant teacher for a darkroom photography class. I have three years of experience working with high schoolers one on and one and as the head of a classroom whether it be my tutoring and mentoring experience with the Partnership for the Advancement and Immersion of Refugees (PAIR) or when I taught 9th grade Literature and Writing as a teaching fellow with the Breakthrough Collaborative.
