The way I teach depends on the requirements of my student. Depending on those requirements, I typically overview the content and ask my student various questions about the content. For example, if I'm teaching a 1st grader about shapes I'll ask them if they know any shapes/ask them to define a shape. If they struggle with my questions then I'll go over the shapes(polygons, circles, 2d, 3d, etc.) slowly and ask them questions as I go. Once I feel like my student understands all of the content, then we'll move onto drills to ensure the student memorizes everything we learned. To summarize, I use an interactive, flexible and detailed approach to teaching.
I am a university math student that has always strived to challenge myself academically. As an elementary school student i received the math award when i graduated from the 8th grade in addition to 4 yearly spelling bee awards throughout elementary school. I was admitted into the International Baccalaureate(IB) program at my high-school. The IB program is an advanced program that uses an internationally standardized curriculum to prepare students with university level coursework. I graduated with a 93% overall average, receiving my IB diploma in the process. I was admitted into the University of Waterloo with a President's Scholarship. I am currently working towards a degree in Actuarial Science and Statistics with an option in Finance.
If student is more than 1 hour away by the fastest bus route, a flat $6 fee per lesson is charged. For example, if I bus 1hr10mins to the student for a 2 hour in-person lesson($50) then the total cost of the lesson will be $56.

Saad and I went to the same high school in which we shared multiple classes. We became friends early in high school and he often helped me out with class and homework when I needed it. He is a very patient and communicative teacher and helped me get through many concepts that I failed to understand at the beginning. He is very comfortable to work with and a very friendly person as well. I would highly recommend him as a teacher/tutor, as I think he will do a wonderful job.
I highly recommend Saad as a math tutor. He has tutored me countless times and each session has been fun and productive. He tutored me in calculus 1 and calculus 2. During these sessions, Saad would take the time to explain complex mathematical concepts in ways that are easy to grasp.
