A few points on my teaching methodology
1- I first ask the student all the necessary questions to understand his/her level of understanding and logic. This is important because the relationship and approach developed is unique with every student.
2- I'm very patient with my students and I make he/she is given the time to think and answer freely without any pressure
3- When explaining how a problem is solved, for example, I walk him/her through the explanation in a way that allows the student to think for him/herself. I ask the right questions to make the student think while explaining.
I am currently an aersopace engineering graduate student at Concordia University. I have three years of work experience as a field mechanical engineer in the oil and gas industry before I came to Canada. I have been private tutoring since I was an undergrad and I currently tutor secondary, high school, and cegep students.
