About the lesson
I know what works and what doesn't work when it comes to methods of learning. I know what you need and don't need when it comes to using the language in real life regardless of circumstances. No need to complicate things that you can enjoy! Learning can be interesting! When teaching language, it's really important to keep student's attention span in check. To do that, I make sure to personalize your learning experience to the tee in order to give you exactly what you pay for.

Native Russian speaker. 19+ years of bilingual experience. I learned English with a variety of language schools and private tutors. Came to Canada on my own a long time ago. Graduated from Seneca College of Applied Arts & Technology (Business Administration - HR Management), have experience in customer service, training & supervision mostly in the Hospitality field. I absolutely love teaching people things so your success will be my pride! I will make sure that you succeed, otherwise, my job isn't done.
I also would like to offer business, educational, and casual written text (i.e. blog) translation (RUS to ENG, ENG to RUS), personal interpretation (including web research or making calls on your behalf), resume composing/editing, and many more services. Just ask! I won't be trying to handle something I have no clue about so we must communicate.
She’s very knowledgeable and friendly, will definitely make learning easier!
I’ve known Kristina for almost ten years now since we had met at a Japanese class. She’s such a kind, caring person, and that’s also important in the process of studying. Kris is extremely hardworking and gets straight to the point in her subject without getting off-topic. I’d love to recommend her as a tutor because won’t be disappointed.
I first met Kristina when I worked as a Resident Advisor at college. Kristina was working at the front desk. No matter the time of day or how busy things were Kristina always maintained a professional demeanor. Her ability to communicate with anyone and everyone was outstanding. It does not suprise me that Kristina is teaching Russian to other people. She is passionate about everything she does and always gives 110%. Her calm presence will be a wonderful asset when teaching. I have no doubt that she is the right choice for teaching!
I know Kristina as we have both worked together. She is very patient and dedicated to her work. She helped train me for my position and was understanding and supportive. She makes an excellent teacher and mentor!
Kristina and I have been colleagues previously and in my personal experience I have witnessed how calm and patient she can be while dealing with people.
She has a lot of experience in leadership roles as well. Therefore she understands the importance of structure and deadlines.
Hardwork, patience and intelligence are just a few traits that make her an excellent tutor.
I met Kristina as a fellow Resident Advisor in college. Since I have known her she has always been a true professional when it comes to her career and a loyal individual when it comes to her relationships. Any one would be lucky to have her as a tutor.
Kristina was one of my past employees. You’ll enjoy her as a tutor because of how kind, non-judgemental, and supportive she is. Highly recommended!
Kristina is great if you’re looking to learn Russian, she’s a nice and patient person :) I recommend her for all levels of learning
I've known kristina for a few years now, and she is without a doubt the most patient and understanding person ive ever me. She never makes you feel out of place. She has this warmth to her personality that is similar to what you might have had with a best friend you've known your entire life. Literally the biggest heart of any person ive ever met, and really smart too. Honestly it would be a mistake not to learn from kristina, aside from learning Russian, you get the opportunity to meet one of the most uplifting and special people this world has to offer. There are very few things i can recommend in this world, but i know learning from this young lady, you get a very authentic experience. I 100% recommend kristina, you'll never be disappointed. She has a way of explaining things, and helping you fully understand what you are learning.

Where do I start with Kristina?
Shes the friendliest, most colorful person i know. She's kind and patient with beginners. She'll put in the effort it takes to guide students on their journey whatever the goal may be. If you're looking for a Russian tutor or help with anything Russian/English translations shes your gal.
I've known Kris for over 20 years and I can tell with confidence - if you need something done, she will do her best to help you. I could always rely on her - whether it was help with homework or some serious life situations, she was there for me trying to dig up all the resources available. I watched her helping people grow. She is good at training and coaching. I have no doubt she will be a great tutor as well. Thank you for always being there for everyone!

Our first "lesson" won't be a lesson at all, thus I would like to make this time free for you. I would like to get to know you and the goals you are trying to accomplish by learning a new language. This will help me, as a tutor, to create your personalized program, and you, as a student, to make sure that you won't be wasting your money on something that you don't need. Our first conversation will help me to define which situations to prepare you for and which materials to use depending on a bunch of factors, such as your age, occupation, etc.
