Ancient History and Social Science teacher looking for students in the Windsor area

Methodology

I base my teaching methods on my experiences working with the youth in both the cadet program and in teaching practicums. I make the content both approachable and fun to learn. I design my classes based on the students learning capabilities, such as kinesthetic vs auditory vs visual. I want to inspire all my students to develop a love of history and an understanding of why it is important in our current climate. I want my students to both practice and learn new transferrable skills that will help them with other classes and in their daily lives. I am a devout believer in the principle of Lead by Example.

Background

I have one degree from Trent University in Ancient Greek and Roman Studies with a minor in Philosophy. I have another degree from the University of Windsor in Education. I am an officer with the Armed Forces working with cadets.
