Hi! I'm a student at OCADU in Toronto, and I'm taking classes for drawing and painting in Waterloo. I specialize in drawing using charcoal and painting with acrylics, oils and watercolours. I'm also fairly skilled at digital painting and animation. My teaching method varies from student to student depending on their abilities, but I'm incredibly organized and create lesson charts as well as timetables for us to follow.
I've been giving lessons for about 3 months, prior to the pandemic. I've presented at local exhibitions in my home country and also had my work printed onto some goodies! I've helped mentor a few students with their portfolios and am fairly familiar with critiquing works of fellow students and artists. I love teaching people how to express their innermost feelings and put pen to paper, I'm also incredibly patient with kids and try to help them see how much fun it is!
Good! Vasundhara is open minded to whatever your hoping to learn, in the beginning she did take time to try and plan lessons, however I realized she didn't enjoy planning, so she became flexible and went with the flow of things. She does teach great techniques, I've asked her to record the class sessions as I want to review things I've learned, however after our last class together I've yet to receive those recordings, and have contacted her a few times without hearing back. Besides that, If you want to learn tips from an art student she would be the person to try out.
