About the lesson

Hi!

I know firsthand how difficult online schooling can be for students, especially those in middle and high school.

I’d love to help your child fill in any gaps and prepare for next year.
My hours are flexible and all learning will be done remotely in an interactive way. I am willing to grades 6-12, as I believe those are the children who may need the most help moving back into in-person schooling.

My lessons aim to help a student through three stages of their writing:
1. Language - The student needs help writing in an academic/literature setting. My aim is to help the student be able to develop a critical and insightful analysis on their own.
2. Analysis - The student needs help to develop their writing style to help bring their ideas to life. My aim is to help the student craft their unique style of writing through their preferred learning style.
3. Cohesion - The student needs help putting together a body of work. My aim is to help the student put all their thoughts together in an essay or written work.

About Rafeena

Hi!

My Name is Rafeena, I am going into the fourth year of my Bachelor's Degree in English and Bachelors of Education.

Throughout my academic career, I've dealt with my fair share of teachers both good and bad. I hope to bridge the gap that they might leave in the classroom by providing students with 1:1 tutoring lessons so that they can reach their fullest potentials.

All in all, I love English and I love teaching students how to be confident their abilities.
