About Talia

I’m a piano teacher with over 9 years of experience and an Advanced Diploma in Piano Performance. My goal is to help students connect emotionally to the music they play. I believe music is not just about notes, but about expression, feeling, and personal voice. In each lesson, I focus on building strong foundations in technique and theory. This allows students to play with both confidence and freedom. I guide them through scales, sight-reading, rhythm, and interpretation in a way that’s clear and encouraging. I’ve worked with students of all ages, from complete beginners to advanced players. Each student brings their own story, and I shape lessons around their goals and pace. Whether preparing for exams or learning just for joy, I make sure the learning process is inspiring. I also emphasize ear training and musicality, helping students listen deeply and play expressively. Watching students grow into confident, creative musicians is the most rewarding part of my work. I bring patience, passion, and a deep respect for the journey each student is on. Let’s bring the music inside you to life, one note at a time.

About the lesson

My teaching approach for piano is centered on building strong fundamentals while keeping lessons enjoyable and motivating. I focus on keyboard technique, ear training, performance skills, and applying music theory in practical ways. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level, pace, and personal goals.

I use simple exercises, creative games, and real music examples to develop accuracy, rhythm, and confidence. Whether a student is aiming for expressive performance or learning just for fun, I support their unique journey. I help young learners stay engaged with fun challenges and steady progress. For adults, I create a relaxed space that encourages growth, no matter their starting point.

We work on sight-reading, improvisation, and musical interpretation, using songs that match the student's interests. I also guide students in developing stage confidence and expressive control. My method blends structure with flexibility to bring out each student’s best. Everyone deserves the chance to grow musically and enjoy the process. I’m here to guide that path with patience and positivity.
