About Skye
I am easy going, but make sure to always leave each lesson with purpose. I am here to help you achieve your goals in music by passing my music theory and guitar skills on, to the best of my ability. I have experience teaching kids and adults alike.
I am crazy about guitar playing and music production, a real nerd about all things music.
Stellenbosch University Conservatory
- Intermediate and Advanced Certificates in Music Literacy
- 10 years of guitar playing experience
- 1 year of guitar teaching experience in the USA.
- Live events at The Q-Factory in the Netherlands
- Live performance at the School of Rock in Chicago, Illinois.

I am not your typical guitar teacher, we won't have you, or your child, back for endless lessons with no results! Each lesson will be tailored to your unique needs and we will focus on what means the most to you.
My goals as your teacher:
1. Teach you core, basic guitar techniques.
2. Get you playing full SONGS, something tangible and rewarding!
3. Make guitar playing easy and enjoyable.
In my lessons, there is:
1. No such thing as a bad question.
2. Room to make mistakes as we learn at YOUR pace.
I offer in-person lessons at a location of your choice, as well as online lessons with high quality audio and a 200Mb/s internet speed.
