About Marisol

I’m a bilingual tutor with a strong passion for languages and culture. I graduated with a minor in Spanish, and over the years, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for Spanish literature and expression from classic writers to modern authors. Because I’ve personally gone through the process of learning another language, I understand the challenges, frustrations, and small victories that come with it. This experience helps me connect with my students and guide them with empathy, patience, and effective strategies that truly work. In every lesson, my goal is to create a positive and motivating environment where students feel supported and confident to speak, make mistakes, and grow. I take my role seriously and always adapt my methods to each student’s goals, whether they’re learning Spanish for travel, studies, or personal interest.

About the lesson

My lessons are 100% online and designed to make learning Spanish enjoyable, practical, and focused on real communication. Each class lasts about one hour, which I find ideal for keeping students engaged while giving enough time to practise speaking, listening, and grammar in a balanced way. I usually recommend regular lessons two or three times per week, but I’m flexible, you can choose the days and frequency that best fit your schedule. I teach students aged 16 and older, from beginners to advanced learners. My teaching method combines conversation, interactive exercises, and cultural immersion. I often suggest easy readings, movies, and TV shows in Spanish to help train your ear and improve comprehension naturally. I graduated with a minor in Spanish and have experience teaching and supporting English Language Learners, which helps me adapt my lessons to each student’s language background and learning style. My goal is to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable practising and making progress at their own pace.
