About Amogelang

A biology student with two certificates in science. I have tutoring for two years to a total of five tutees. Most of my students were face to face but I do offer online services. 90% of my student's results improved to 70% after a few weeks with sessions.

My tutoring methods vary to the type of students I work with. My methods include:
1. Questioning.
- Ask questions to get students actively involved.
2.The inquiry/Socratic method.
- Asking what the students already know and adding more to it.
3. Drills.
- Multiple choices answers for a series of controlled questions.
4.Alternation.
- The reversed method of letting your student tutor you ,effective strategy for a subject that requires a lot of memorization.
5. Application
- A student implying what they have learned or know through solving working problems on their own.

*These methods may vary according to my observation of the student/tutee. A possibly of using them all is likely with attempts of seeing which suits a student best.

I DO NOT help students with homework and assignments instead I prepare them to solve problems independently and improve their study skills.
