Now is the time to lace up your shoes and start training. Running a marathon comes down to you putting in the time and effort. You don't want to be an under-trained race down. If you are worried about training and unclear how to start, remember you can always hire a personal trainer. They can take care of everything from start to finish. You have to be willing to put in the work.
It is possible to run a marathon. You have to be willing to train consistently. You're going to have days when you don't feel like running, but these are the most important days to run.
