Italian is a language not a lot of us think about learning. Living in Montreal you’re constantly around french and English. There are many Italian festivals that you would be able to take part in. It would be such a great experience. It all starts when you learn Italian. This means you can start to improve skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical, memory and learning just to name a few. Your brain has to work harder when you know two languages. Learn Italian in Montreal 

Montreal does have the second-highest city of Italian speakers and they also have some wonderful places to learn Italian. You're going to have the option of learning Italian in a school, privately or online. Each place will benefit others better compared to some, so pick a place that you think will help you the most. We’ll list a few options below to get you started in learning Italian. 

Giovanni Pascoli School of Italian - They offer wonderful Italian classes for beginners to advanced. They offer small classes in the daytime, evenings and weekends, giving you flexibility when picking a class. All their teachers are certified in Italian with some of there teachers being from Italy. The school of Italian creates a warm atmosphere for new learners. They have a lot of positive reviews online from past students and are worth checking out. 

Dawson college - The college does offer numerous college programs but they also offer extra-circular language classes with one of them being Italian. They offer fall and summer sessions. Their course also takes place 1 day a week in the evening. The course focuses on basic language and by the end of the course, you should be able to carry a basic conversation in Italian. Dawson College is another great place to check out. 

Superprof - They have 100s of tutors in the Montreal area ready to teach you Italian. They offer classes online or in-person giving you the freedom and flexibility in learning Italian when you want to learn. Superprof also offers the first lesson for free so you can get a feel for what your sessions will be like. They offer lessons with 1 on 1 tutoring sessions so you have the tutors full and undivided attention.

Which Place is Best to Learn Italian? 

Only you can answer this question. If you choose to be in-person to learn Italian you can be with a group or by yourself. A group session usually has cheaper rates compared to one and one and you get to meet new people. You’ll also be able to practice your Italian more because of your classmates and you can practice outside of class. Learning by yourself you’ll be able to have more time with the tutor. The lesson will be all about you. If your more introverted one on one may be better for you, but that's not saying you shouldn't get out there and meet people. You might surprise yourself. 

Learning online is the same as in-person tutoring. Your tutor will be able to teach you in the same way, you just have to do it over the webcam. For some they like the idea of learning right a home, You don't have to travel anywhere or worry about being late. You can just open your laptop and be ready to learn. If you're unsure about picking the best place to learn Italian you should try out them all. A lot of places will offer their first lesson for free. You can also go in and speak to the teacher beforehand.  These two suggestions should give you a good idea of what the session should entail.
