There are so many fitness YouTube channels out there and sometimes you just need a video to exercise along to. Some will require gym equipment whereas there are video workouts that you can do with things you find around the house, but the best thing about YouTube fitness channels is that they're free and subscribers can enjoy fitness, bodybuilding, or workout content without breaking the bank.
Of course, some channels have extra content that you will have to pay for, but you can enjoy an awful lot of content before you start paying a YouTuber to help you with your fitness.

This YouTuber offers exercise videos as well as live-streaming workouts to followers of the channel. There are exercise sessions for arms and abs, HIIT (high-intensity interval training), leg workouts, workouts for kids, and motivational videos to make you feel like doing some exercise.
This is a fitness Youtube channel with a good variety of video content. There's everything from HIIT workout videos you can follow along to without needing any gym equipment to yoga sessions and workouts you can do with the whole family.
For those with a few minutes to spare, there are also shorter cardio workouts that you can do in ten minutes. If you're looking for longer workouts, there are also a lot of 30-minute workouts that you could do every day.
If you're looking for a good fitness YouTube channel, Body Project is worthy of a follow. The content on the channel includes HIIT, pilates, cardio, abs, and fat-burning videos.
If you watch one of their training videos each day (and do the exercises, of course), you'll soon start to see results.
This channel is run by a YouTuber husband and wife power couple that offer a load of workout and training content. This channel has been around for a while so there's plenty of free content to get you started with hundreds of training videos so it'll be a long time before you've seen everything and have to wait for new posts from the channel.
Zanna Van Dijk
This channel is pretty unique as it's one of the few YouTube channels that advocates strength training for women. While a lot of the other female YouTubers on this list have a pretty strong focus on cardio or weight loss, Zanna has workouts that can help build muscle. Of course, that doesn't mean that she doesn't also offer the same kind of HIIT workouts and cardio sessions that the others do.
Yoga with Kassandra
While not as intensive as a HIIT workout, you can still get a good workout from yoga and this channel offers yoga content that you'll probably want to watch towards the end of the day.

In addition to bedtime affirmations, you can also find yoga sessions arranged by time so whether you want a quick yoga session you can do in very little time or a longer yoga session that lasts 45 minutes, Kassandra's got you covered.
This fitness YouTube channel has workouts for everything, including a workout video that won't bother your neighbours. The most useful workouts are probably in their Home Workout Series but there are also useful videos and posts on proper technique to make sure you get the most out of your training.
The Body Coach
You probably know the body coach better as Joe Wicks, the famed YouTuber who offered free PE lessons for schoolchildren across the UK during the first lockdown. These sessions became hugely popular and thrust Joe into the limelight and while he stopped the PE lessons after entertaining millions with them for nearly 5 months, he brought them back at the start of 2021 with further school closures.
That said, his channel is more than just PE lessons for during lockdown and many adults and children benefitted from following his workouts and his optimistic outlook in the face of challenging circumstances; something many of us need when exercising.
Two of the biggest things that stop us from exercising are time and money. Fortunately, with Lucy's channel, you don't need much of either. Her fitness videos and workouts are on the shorter side and usually last between 7 and 11 minutes. Some are even as short as four minutes. For those with more time to spare, there are more comprehensive workouts around 20 to 30 minutes, too.
For anyone who feels that they're too busy to exercise regularly, subscribing to this YouTube channel is probably a pretty good idea.
Generally, most of these fitness YouTubers offer a similar service so we recommend trying several different ones out before choosing the channel whose videos you enjoy the most. While some workouts may be better than others, it's better to get into the routine of doing them and this is much easier if you like the presenter or the presentation overall.
