About Rodgerick
Hello! My name is Rodgerick, and I am a language tutor offering tuition Spanish and Italian. I graduated in Modern and Medieval Languages from the University of Cambridge, where I studied with particular focus on the linguistic development of the Romance Languages - the nuts and bolts of how the languages actually work.
As part of my studies, I lived and worked in Italy, where I taught language classes to students of all levels and ages. During my time there, I gained valuable experience in teaching practical communication skills and using immersive techniques to help students achieve fluency in both languages.
I believe in tailoring my teaching methods to each individual student's needs and interests, whether they prefer a grammar-focused approach or a more communicative one. My lessons are designed to be engaging, effective, and enjoyable, using a variety of materials such as textbooks, articles, music, videos, and conversation practice.

In the first lesson I assess the student's knowledge level and learning style in order to tailor future lessons to the student's needs and abilities.
I use a variety of teaching materials: A combination of textbooks, videos, music, online resources, and practical exercises to make the lesson more engaging and effective.

I provide regular feedback and evaluation to help students understand their strengths and weaknesses in order to improve.
