I am good at developing individualized plans for students at different learning levels. Proven ability to improve student Chinese literacy and math levels through innovative activities and lesson plans. For instance, during Chinese class, I used PowerPoint to present teaching materials. In addition, I also used related videos and songs to strengthen their memories. During maths class, I imparted math knowledge to students in a simple and understandable way to make sure students not only understand WHAT but more importantly understand WHY so that students can lay a solid math foundation.

I received certificate of qualification as a Middle Chinese Language Teacher by International Profession Certification Association (IPA) in August 2011.
As a teacher work for London District Catholic School Board, I teach 25 grade-schoolers. I create and implement innovative and engaging Chinese lesson plans, increasing grade-schoolers' learning motivation and effectiveness by 19%. Besides, I implement multiple musical and art-related activities that improved students' creative skills and facilitated their further understanding about Chinese culture. In addition, I structure different levels of math's questions based on each preschoolers' and grade-schoolers' learning capability, allowing them to become better self-learners, and gaining 100% in both parental and principal approval and positive feedback. I also turned around class that had sever management issues, by establishing a strong teamwork environment and role shift that reduced behavioral issues by 45%.
As a tutor at Full Mark educational institution from June to August 2013, I designed flashcards to stimulate and enhance students reciting ability in order to assist them to lay solid foundation of Chinese knowledge. Provided tutoring support and designed individualized learning plans for students with learning difficulties, and gifted learners to trigger and maintain their curiosity and passion of learning was also a part of my job. Last but not least, imparted math knowledge to around 40 grade-schoolers in a simple and understandable way to improve their ability to solve problems with the combination of divergent and logical thinking, so as to help them improve their math scores was also a part of my teaching experiences
