At-Home Personal Training Sessions
Utilizing a variety of movement systems including Functional Training, Weight Lifting, HIIT and Yoga, I will help guide you week-by-week through a customized workout program to get you back to a sustainable exercise routine!
Why you will enjoy my training style:
I take extra care in looking closely at your form, correcting any misalignments in posture and movement patterns so that you are moving safely.
I start from the foundation, building from simple to complex over a length of time to keep you challenged and progressing.
I build your workouts based on what you have at home, I won't ask you to purchase any additional equipment unless you would like to.
A session with me will be customized to your specific needs but typically it looks like this:

Simply put, I'm not going to just make you sweat, I'm also going to teach you about your body, so that one day, you will become self-su-FISH-ient... get it!

Hi! I'm Heather,
At the age of 16, I developed crippling back pain and sciatica from a sedentary lifestyle. This propelled me on a total mind-body healing process and awakened me to the powerful effects of regular exercise and healthy movement habits.
It has since inspired me to care for those who need a guide, as I once did, back to a healthy and happy body.

I was new to any kind of weight training / fitness activities when I decided to take some classes with heather (keep cool gym) for my fitness goals to loose weight and get fit.
Heather patiently heard my goals and tailored a fitness and meal plan for achieving the goals.
The workouts were different each day and is tailored with necessary modifications based on my ability.
She pushed me to do my best while providing encouragement and helped me very much on my fitness journey.
I would highly recommend her for the high quality personal training service she provides.
Heather has been working with me as a yoga instructor for a several months now. She listens to my requests and gears every class to my specific requirements. I sense that each session is uniquely programmed. Originally it was a knee injury I was worried about but there have been other issues due to a sedentary Covid lifestyle. As a zoom based instructor her pose and position instructions have been excellent. I always feel limber and less stressed after our sessions. Her classes are always on time with some debrief time at the end. Her style is calm and relaxing.
Heather has been training me for 18 months or so now. First in person, then we had to pivot to virtual! She always puts together thoughtful workouts for me, and various them well to keep me moving :) We’ve mostly been working out of the gym, and I have been amazed at her creativity with various household items and a few resistance bands and balls.
I’m 42 and come with a variety of aches and pains, Heather is always mindful to offer alternatives, but without letting me off easy either. I also like is that Heather will explain briefly why a muscle or a joint is important, or how I can help myself between workouts.
I always feel great after my workout with Heather and secretly look forward to the next one !!
