About Olena
I am a fourth-year student studying Commerce, and have focused the majority of my studies in finance. I have previously worked with large companies analyzing data sets and creating financial models. My strengths are in math and quantitative analysis, and I have previously tutored high school student in math subjects.
Further, I also have a background in creative writing and essay writing and have written blog posts and articles for marketing agencies and school papers. Depending on the needs of the student, we can approach a lesson in one of two ways.
The first approach is working through a lesson plan that teaches a core concept (such as isolating a variable in algebra), covering a few simple problems, and then working through more complex problems as well as the material assigned by the teacher.
A second approach would be to tackle an assignment together. I would offer support and feedback, help with thesis development and research, and ensure the comprehension of the student.
