I have experience tutoring Computer Science and programming in many forms for several years and have a passion for the subject.
I have a different approach to teaching computing with a greater focus on problem-solving to give students a better idea of why code and a particular structure is used and how the knowledge can benefit them.
I also aim to make lessons exactly suited to students needs so it is challenging but gives the essential information they want.
This includes giving example tasks and resources suited to the student, and also providing support via email daily to help give quick responses to problems challenging students.
Please feel free to contact me with any queries you have.
I have tutored GCSE, A-level and University Computer Science including programming and theory for about 3 years. During this time I have helped students with a wide range of skill sets from absolute beginner to university graduate level.
I have an A* in GCSE and A in A-level Computer Science as well as currently studying computer science further at Queens.
The most important trait I have as a tutor is that I'm direct and honest. I want my students to gain a passion for the subject, and also give them the essential knowledge they need, so will not waffle or waste time in areas unimportant to them.
