Hala is one of our best tutors. High-quality profile and excellent qualifications, organised and responsive to lesson requests, appreciated by their students!
About the lesson
My lectures resemble more storytelling than an academic presentation. The story
always puts in play current problems to which the solution is the material I'm teaching at hand.
This encourages students to go beyond the scope of the lecture and elevate the discussion to a
debate about real-life implications of the theory we're debating. In my opinion, this method helps
students build their expertise in a way that highlights their unique competencies. This technic
proved to be very effective with student engineers who appreciate the touch of reality in an
otherwise theoretical lecture.
For my undergraduate classes I use a different approach. Since they lack the knowledge maturity
of graduate students, I use practical examples to introduce a new theory and help them build their
analytical thinking abilities in order to solve relevant problems.

I had the opportunity to work closely with Dr Hala, I can testify that she is excellent in communication and most important she knows how to explain and transfer knowledge in a simple way.
I have known Hala through PMI Career Accelerator Program.
I have found her incredibly talented, smart, committed, and friendly person. I am really impressed by her ability to speak many languages. Hala is not only expert in mathematics, she is also highly skilled project management professional, teacher, process improvement adviser, and public speaker. Additionally, Hala has great leadership and interpersonal skills. I highly recommend Hala for teaching positions and as well as project management and process improvement related jobs.

1. When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?
Since I was a child.
2. What makes you passionate about your subject?
What I love about Math is that it's worldly. It's an independent science that stands on its own and has application literary in every field out there. That to me is fascinating.
3. What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?
I love explaining math to a student and getting them to like it. There's nothing that makes me more happy than hearing my student say the phrase " waw! that's so easy!" when they initially were hating it all together. What makes me a Superprof is that I do this with passion and enthusiasm. I make my sessions fun and interactive.
4. Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?
I had the privilege to have Dr. Mestari as a Mentor and Advisor during my PhD and After and he's a real inspiration for me.
5. What are your keys to success?
Knowing my student's strength and weaknesses. Adapting the material and the speed to the one of my student's need.
