With years of teaching various subjects, I have learned the benefits of keeping lessons fun and inviting while catering the lesson plan to the individuals learning style to ensure they absorb and retain the information being presented. As such, I make it my mission to ensure my students are having fun in finding success!
I am a business owner, mother and professional in the Post Secondary Education sector. I graduated high school in 2010 with honors, completing my studies one semester early due to high academic achievement and extracurriculars. In addition to my full time job, I also teach horseback riding lessons to all ages.
As a young mother, business owner and professional within the Post-Secondary Educational sector, I consider myself a life-long educator in a variety of subjects. I am dedicated to continuing my education and inspiring others around me to do the same.
I consider myself to be a fun, welcoming individual who, in my spare time, also founded and runs a local Non-Profit Organization for local equestrians. In my spare time, I enjoy Photography, gardening and expanding my farm through sustainable farming practices.

RECENT WORK EXPERIENCE
Mighty Peace Wireless, Office Manager
2016 – Present (Casual)
My duties as office manager greatly vary, including but not limited to managing staff, inventory and appointments.
Grande Prairie Regional College, Student Success Officer
I began my career with GPRC as the Student Success officer, where my day-to-day requirements revolved around assisting the variety of students our campus supported. I attended Booth Fairs to spread knowledge on the College, helped arrange tutoring and other counselling needs, and helped students deal with the day-to-day struggles of student life.
Grande Prairie Regional College, Program Assistant
2019 – Present
As my contract as the Student Success Officer was nearing its end, I applied and was granted the position as the Program Assistant for the Construction & Fabrication Department. In this role, my job allows me to act as the assistant to over 12 instructors, as well as providing support to the students as necessary.
I feel my strongest skills involve my ability to connect to a variety of people, regardless of their learning skills. In my spare time, I have taught riding lessons for people of all levels for over 15 years. As my time teaching horse husbandry and riding skills, I had to learn to adapt my methods to ensure my subject grasps the concepts to ensure the information is not only absorbed, but is also retained. In addition to that, I would consider myself a friendly, outgoing and personable person with an open mind. As a mother, business owner and career-driven woman, I feel I have a lot to offer and love to inspire others around me.
