About Manil
I take pride in maintaining high academic standards while developing a strong understanding of mathematics, science, and physics at an advanced level. My background in engineering allows me to approach problems logically and explain complex concepts in a clear, structured way that students can easily understand. I am highly organized, patient, and committed to professionalism in every lesson. I prepare thoroughly, respect students’ time, and tailor each session to individual learning needs. I understand that confidence plays a major role in academic success, and I work to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. As a tutor, I focus on building strong fundamentals, improving problem-solving skills, and helping students gain the confidence needed to perform well on exams and assignments. Whether a student is struggling with concepts or aiming to excel, I provide clear guidance, effective strategies, and consistent support. I approach tutoring with responsibility, reliability, and a genuine interest in my students’ progress. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them develop the skills and mindset needed for long-term academic success.

My name is Manil, and I am an Electrical and Computer Engineering student with a perfect 4.0 GPA. My approach as a tutor is focused on clarity, structure, and building true understanding rather than memorization. I believe that most students struggle not because they are incapable, but because concepts were explained too quickly or without connecting ideas together.
Teaching Method and Techniques:
I teach by breaking complex problems into simple, logical steps and explaining the why behind each step. I use guided problem-solving, real exam-style questions, and active participation so students are never just watching but thinking along with me. I adapt my explanations based on how each student learns, whether they need visual explanations, repetition, or conceptual reinforcement.
Typical Lesson Plan:
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material to identify gaps. We then focus on the main topic using worked examples and step-by-step problem solving. After that, the student practices similar problems with my guidance, and we end with a short summary and strategies they can use independently after the session.
What Sets Me Apart:
What sets me apart as a tutor is that I am close in age and academic experience to my students, so I understand the exact challenges they face in math and physics classes today. As an engineering student, I apply concepts practically and teach efficient problem-solving strategies that actually work on exams. I focus on confidence, accuracy, and long-term improvement, not just getting through homework.
Who My Lessons Are For:
My lessons are designed for middle school, high school, and early college students studying algebra, precalculus, calculus, science, and physics. I work with students who are struggling, those aiming to improve grades, and high-achieving students who want to strengthen their fundamentals or prepare for advanced coursework.
My goal as a tutor is to help students feel confident, capable, and prepared to succeed academically.
