My teaching methods are typical one on one or with a small group. I use relatable analogies to explain concepts, provide examples and have my students describe back to me what they understand and where they feel less confident in. All students learn differently and I take time to understand their needs before diving into the subject. Lastly, I'm a firm believer of rewarding the good work, rather than patronizing what's wrong to instil the right skills and confidence of the student.
