About Myshara
I’m Myshara, an English and Creative Writing grad at Thompson Rivers University who has just moved back to my hometown, Kelowna. I am working towards becoming a high school English teacher and have been wanting to offer tutoring to high school students for over a year. I am currently awaiting acceptance into the Bachelor of Education at UBC-O. I am passionate about all that I have learned and can’t wait to share my passion with my own students.

I was previously a student at Thompson Rivers University, majoring in English and minoring in Creative Writing. I am awaiting graduation at the moment. My lessons are geared towards students in grades 7-12 who struggle with English and Writing courses and are looking for external assistance with their grades and studies. I use the BC Curriculum found online to help suit lessons to individual student’s needs, while working with the learning outcomes. This includes help with reading comprehension and analysis, academic writing and creative writing/poetry, and prepping for tests and exams within English courses. The first lesson will entail: finding the areas that the student needs assistance, determining their strengths in English, and building the foundation of a lesson plan for the individual student.
