Learn presentation and public speaking skills through the lense of professional theatre training. I use my performance background and expertise as a technique to foster better communication skills, poise and confidence in my students. I approach all of my teaching with high energy, positivity, passion and patience. I have enjoyed building long-lasting bonds with the students that I take on, and have enjoyed watching their confidence grow in school and beyond. I work on an individual basis, and adapt my teaching style based on the needs of each individual student. Classes will include a range of weekly assignments, readings, vocal exercises and presentation feedback.

In class, students will learn how to:
1. Improve oral speaking skills with a focus on articulation, vocal variety and posture.
​2. Cultivate better reading and writing skills with attention to grammar, punctuation and word choice.
3. Teach and implement proper essay structure, argumentation and thesis development.
4. Develop research skills and learn to synthesize information effectively.*Note: I adapt all of my teaching to the needs of each student, and would be happy to discuss further training in acting, theatre and creative writing.
