About Zara

I did ballet for five years and then went on to join a company name 'voice dance' for two years. The company toured New Zealand putting on performances. I also was offered to do scholarship dance at NCEA level three.

My teaching method is very student led as I want to strengthen what skills and talents each individual already has. Things like offering ways the student can tweak their moves to improve the dance, whilst not taking away from the students unique ideas and their personal stories that can be worked into dances and expressed powerfully through their dances.
