About Agnieszka
Fully qualified teacher with over 10 years of experience teaching A Level Chemistry, GCSE Science and KS3 Science including intervention programs and 1-to-1 support sessions. I have experience in a variety of online learning environments and I am able to adapt my practice to individual needs.
I have recent GCSE and A Level exam marking experience with AQA and I am able to coach exam skills effectively to maximise student outcomes. I lead a Science department in a large secondary, including design of Chemistry A Level curriculum, and I have deep and wide understanding of Science curriculum requirements at secondary level.
I am patient, approachable and focus on individual needs as they arise.
Additionally, I have over 3 years of experience teaching secondary beginner Japanese and I guided a small group of students to study for Japanese GCSE. I have a personal passion for languages and I want to share it with my students.

I focus on the student's needs - I diagnose the need and address it accordingly. My teaching style is highly personalised to the learner as I assess what works with the specific student and what doesn't and adapt my approach accordingly. The student and I need to work together as a team to deliver the result and my strength is in being able to inspire the student to work with me by building their confidence in the areas of their initial weakness.
I am passionate about the subjects I teach and I take pride in my practical knowledge of exam requirements. I am able to translate these into practical advice for students to allow them to achieve their potential.
