Methodology
My teaching methods are simple, fun and progressive. I focus on, Audition, Sight-Reading, Technique, Expression (performance and improvisation) and Appreciation.
I like to start the class by performing a short musical improvisation or a transcribed solo piece on acoustic or electric guitar showing some melodic and harmonic ideas.
I make sure that everyone Freely Develops an ear for Rhythm , Melody, Harmony and Counterpoint on and off their instrument, through the use of a vast repertoire of as many styles and genres as possible.
Background
I am a professionnal electric and acoustic guitar player, arranger, composer, teacher and singer. I have a bachelors degree in arranging. I have performed many years in casinos, cruise ships, and various groups around the world. I specialize in electric guitar tone, solo guitar arrangements, Improvisation, studio recording in many styles, Harmony on guitar as well as keyboard, and vocal groups.
