About the lesson

I understand that there is no one method fits all when it comes to teaching students especially with maths there are multiple ways of solving one problem, I would pick the method that would suit that individual student best.

I think with anything practice is the most important. I will ensure that in class we go over the typical exam questions and set homework that will help to secure the things we have learnt in class.I would also include some questions that will challenge them to think and further strengthen their knowledge.

About Marty

I am currently studying Mathematics with Statistics at KCL. I received an A*AA for maths, further maths and economics respectively at A-levels and a 2:1 for my first year at university.

I started tutoring 3 years ago right after I finished my A-Level exams and I have had 3 students at GCSE level and 2 A-level in the past. I attended a top north London independent school so I am able to help with 11+ entrance exams too.

I will charge a base rate of £25/hr for GCSE and 11+ students, and £30/hr for qualifications at A level standard or higher. Rates are liable to change in the future, with considerable notice provided.
