With new students I tend to ask a lot of questions to get a very clear image of how comfortable they are with fundamentals. Once that is established I come up with a plan suitable to the student.
I recently graduated in Biochemistry with a GPA of 4.02/4.33 from Concordia University in Montreal. I received several prestigious scholarships such as NSERC for academic excellence throughout my studies. I love science and more so to teach it. I have been tutoring science courses to university and high school students for several years now. If you need help with any of the following subjects:
- Chemistry (organic and general),
- Math (algebra, pre-calculus and calculus),
- Biology
- Biochemistry
please contact me at: (concealed information) or text at: (concealed information) For your consideration I have uploaded a copy of feedback I have received from past students on a tutoring website. Due to pandemic all my sessions are online using Zoom and other online tutoring tools.
Thank you and hope to hear from you!

Leila’s method of teaching is amazing. She always finds the easiest way to clarify topics, even very complicated ones. She’s willing to even go into details to explain better. She doesn’t waste her time or the student’s time. Her aim is to make you understand the material as well as she does.
Leila has extensive knowledge in math and chemistry. As a mature student starting in university learning math again was not easy. Leila taught me different methods to solve for equations and introduced me to concepts to expect. She is very patient in explaining hard concepts and will repeat as much as needed. I learned a lot from Leila and do not find math a subject to fear any longer.
Leila is a great tutor. She is very proficient at explaining terms and concepts. I gained confidence from the many practice questions she assigned. I would definitely recommend Leila to others.
Leila is the best tutor I've had, she explains very well, she is organized and precise in her work. She always has the answer to ur question and knows extremely well the material. I 100% recommend her as a tutor!
Leila is an amazing and talented tutor that doesn't only teach you how to think when approaching different types of problems, but also makes you understand the fundamental concepts behind them. This is essential to succeed, and I find most tutors don't do a good job at that. I've been going to her for over two years and I was never disappointed. Leila is also very caring for her students, she will go above and beyond to ensure you achieve good grades.
I was a member of the National Synchronized Swimming Team for many years until the time came when I had to retire. I went back to school but couldn't remember the most simple math and science concepts. Leila worked with me starting from the most basic and tutored me throughout the 4 years of university until I finished all the science courses (calculus and chemistry and biology) and got accepted into my dream program physiotherapy. I always tell her can't thank her enough!
Leila has helped me with math for the past few years. I used to dread math until I learned it can be fun when it's taught properly by a good teacher
