I met Bukola in South Africa in 2016 and was under her tutelage for 9 months. Bukola is such a great teacher who teaches with all simplicity. Hours with Bukola feels like minutes because you can never be bored as she takes you simply through whatever you need to learn from her.
My experience in December 2016 was kind of funny. I had a flight to catch but I end up rescheduling because she has to take me through how to carryout phylogenetic analyses which took us hours with me not realizing it. I became engrossed in the lesson as I was able to do with ease what she taught me that I didn't realised the time was far spent.

She's very calm, understanding, patient, hard working and very intelligent. Instead of using one method in any case whether teaching or mentoring, she likes formulating examples and comparing them with others. She mentored me throughout my MSc studies.
