Alexandra's interview

QUESTION 01 | 05
When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?
Alexandra — Ever since she could remember, I have always possessed a strong love of storytelling. I used to write poetry and short stories as a child and in later years, decided to pursue my degree in journalism. Writing is a passion of mine because I love the idea of being able to express freely my thoughts without interruption. It also has helped me become more confident about my own ideas and what inspires me.
QUESTION 02 | 05
What makes you passionate about your subject?
Alexandra — My own experiences have drawn me closer to the craft over the years.
QUESTION 03 | 05
What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?
Alexandra — I love the idea of being able to help students strengthen their reading and writing skills so that they can become effective communicators and the future leaders of tomorrow. Teaching is the highlight of my day. It inspires and energizes me, and I want to devote my time to working with students and helping them to develop, express, and exchange their ideas.
QUESTION 04 | 05
Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?
Alexandra — Yes, I had a brilliant teacher in elementary school that really encouraged me to rise to my fullest potential. It was from this early age that I developed a love of writing and received the motivation to achieve my goals for the future.
QUESTION 05 | 05
What are your keys to success?
Alexandra — I believe success first begins with empowerment. I believe that in order for great change to occur, we have to actively work to remove the limits society sets on us. Once students are able to do that, it becomes possible to rise to their fullest potential and find true success.
