Before the first session I will ask the student to specify their syllabus so I can prepare for exactly which kinds of issues the student may encounter. Proceeding this, in the first session I will look to assess student by asking questions on all parts of the syllabus they have covered. With a full understanding of the students strengths and weaknesses I will look to develop areas that include misunderstandings starting from the most basic principles.
I have graduated with a first class degree in Physics with Philosophy from The University of Manchester. I have experience of teaching at secondary school level after working as a science teacher at Chorlton High School. This allows me to empathise well with students and develop a good understanding of why they find subject material challenging which ultimately leads to a more productive teaching style.

Really friendly and easy to get on with. Extremely patient which is helpful. Can't recommend Samuel enough!
With Sam's help I managed to achieve one of my best grades throughout my physics degree. He made concepts so much easier to understand and helped me reach my full potential! Thanks Sam!!
Sam was so great, he really helped me to feel confident in my own knowledge which is part of what really helps you do well. He's so nice and friendly, such a great tutor :)
I first heard about Samuel through a friend who was receiving tuition from him for his Physics A-level exams, he spoke very highly of him. I was put in contact and he responded straight away with his availability and we soon worked out a time slot for my own tutoring. My first impressions of Samuel were excellent, he's well-spoken, polite, and clearly has a great understanding of his subject. Samuel tutored me for two months, once a week, in the lead up to my physics exam. I attained an A on the exam which I very much doubt I could have achieved without his help - I only got a high C in the year prior using a different tutor. Overall I would definitely recommend Samuel as a tutor, he's personable, friendly and not awkward to be around which is something I value highly in a tutor.
I have studied and lived with Samuel for several years now. He is conscientious in his work and has always been very helpful and constructive with concerns and questions I’ve had. I would certainly recommend him as a tutor - he has a passion for physics and helping others.
Samuel is a superlative tutor with a friendly demeanor. He is knowledgeable, reliable, and caters to each student's needs. Quality assured!
