My teaching method is to first identify the student's level. Once the level has been identified the lesson is adjusted to it. Also depending on the student (eg. hardworking, trustworthy, easily distracted etc.) my approach varies. In cases where the student puts a great deal of work at home, a higher level and greater amount of homework is provided and then the lesson is there to answer any questions and move on to the next topic. Whereas in cases where the student does not do the work it will have to be done during the lesson with my supervision as any advance in the content without the previous work completed will not benefit the student. In online lessons the worksheets will be sent via email and will either need to be printed out or edited in Google docs. Students do not require to purchase any textbooks, all content will be provided. I believe lessons are not to be browning endless times of misery with loads of unprocessed content but to combine a great deal of helpful content while being exciting and interesting. Which is why throughout lessons my attitude remains lively and occasional jokes are made. Through the use of this technique I have found my students to be able to learn more content in less time. At the end of the lesson the students are always asked to provide their opinion on the lessons in order to further benefit them.
