About the lesson
I adapt my approach to the needs of each student: For a beginner, I can teach them basic expressions, grammar, pronunciation as well as reading. For a more advanced learner, I tend to focus more on conversation. I encourage my students to express themselves in French and I correct their mistakes. I answer questions, review grammar points, and guide them on their journey. Some students like to focus on writing, so in this case I suggest a topic and the student writes a text about it outside of class, and when we meet each other we read the text together and correct the mistakes and work on the points the student struggles with.
I have a friendly and casual approach, I'm not a very strict teacher. I like to let the student guide the way and I go with the flow and make sure I meet their needs and help them improve.
