My approach is influence by neurolinguistics, by the Neurolinguistical Theory of Billinguism from Michel Paradis and by the Neurolinguistical Approach. The main aspects of my teaching is speaking practice, oriented towards your real life interests and real conversations. I have a lot of experience in pronunciation correction and practice, and I provide continuous correction to my students, with the goal of acquirering good linguistical habits. I do not quiz my students, my goal is not for them to learn French by heart, but to acquire the language to practice. I explain grammar only when needed, mostly written grammar.
I have a bachelor degree in French as a second language teaching from a Québec based university, and a master degree in French as a foreign language teaching from a Korean university. I speak English fluently and intermediate 2 Korean. During my bachelor degree, I did 5 practicums (as required for my degree), one of them being with adults students. I have done tutoring with adult students for CEGEPs (the Quebec degree afther high school and before university) for some years, I have substituted in an elementary school and I have been tutoring online for some months now.
I can teach multiple time a week if wished.
