About Lana

My interest in French language and culture inspired me to pursue a Bachelor’s in French Studies. Over 5 years of teaching, I have worked with learners at all levels, helping them gain confidence, fluency, and cultural awareness. I focus on clear explanations, interactive exercises, and supportive feedback to ensure students progress steadily while enjoying the learning process.

I emphasize practical communication, integrating conversation, media, and cultural exploration into lessons. Students are encouraged to engage actively, take risks in speaking, and build fluency naturally. Mistakes are framed as learning opportunities to boost confidence and persistence.

Outside the classroom, I explore French literature, films, and cultural events to bring authentic content into lessons. Watching learners evolve from hesitant speakers to confident communicators is extremely rewarding. My aim is to help students gain practical fluency, cultural insight, and a lifelong appreciation for French language and culture.

About the lesson

French becomes engaging when learners experience it in realistic, interactive contexts. My lessons integrate grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening comprehension, and speaking practice in a lively and structured way. I use dialogue exercises, cultural stories, media examples, and conversation games to help students internalize language and feel confident using it. Each session focuses on both understanding and communication, ensuring that students build practical fluency and cultural awareness.

I structure lessons according to ability. Beginners focus on essential vocabulary, simple sentence construction, and clear pronunciation. Intermediate learners work on conversational skills, verb tenses, idiomatic expressions, and listening comprehension. Advanced learners refine fluency, engage with authentic texts, debate cultural topics, and analyze French media. Every class provides guided practice, feedback, and interactive activities to reinforce learning and retention.

My goal is to help students feel confident speaking French in any context. Lessons nurture communication skills, cultural understanding, and fluency. Students gradually build comfort with both casual conversation and more formal situations. By creating a positive, encouraging environment, learners grow motivated, confident, and capable, enjoying the process of learning while connecting language to meaningful cultural experiences.
