About Jenna
Hello, I'm Jenna, and I am currently a second year student at the University of Bath studying French and Spanish with a focus on European studies. Having tutored younger students a little bit while I was doing my a-levels, I have decided to start doing it again as I really enjoyed helping students that may be struggling with languages to improve and have more confidence in themselves. I know at times languages can be quite hard from personal experience and that's why I want to try and help to resolve any misunderstandings/ confusion that someone might have. Lastly, I want the lessons to be a relaxed environment where a student would feel comfortable in telling me if they're confused or don't like the way in which I am teaching. I think that in order for languages to be enjoyed and improved on, lessons must be interactive and most importantly fun. I would endeavour to tailor each lesson to the areas which the student would like to work on, which will be discussed prior to each lesson.
Furthermore, I used to tutor while I was doing my a-levels, and I found it really rewarding helping others to improve their languages and also trying to develop their interest in them!
My typical lesson would last for 1 hour to allow plenty of time to learn the content and then to put it into practice.
My lessons are targeted at GCSE level and below.
