When teaching beginner young learners, my teaching methods are including utilizing collective pronunciation practices that are already familiar for my students in their own dialects to guide them to accurate pronunciations in English; use flashcards and age appropriate games to teach new vocabularies. For adult students, I combine both flexible and structured classroom activities to teach.
As an experienced teacher, I've spent most of my life studying English as a Second language in post secondary schools in Canada and am teaching young people English full-time in China. I enjoy helping my students to learn English, starting with perfect pronunciations and good fundamentals of understanding vocabularies and their usages.
