Methodology
Generally, the tutoring session involves multiple problem solving exercises in order to target the weaknesses and strengths of the student. Professors often do not have time to give clear and in-depth explanation which is why, during these classes, you can acquire a better understanding of the material and understand clearly what once seemed to be impossible to grasp!
Background
I have been tutoring privately for the last four years which involved mostly individual tutoring in organic chemistry. I have also been a teaching assistant for introductory organic chemistry courses at McGill University, thus I am more than comfortable and experienced in teaching organic chemistry. In addition, my students have observed an enormous increase in their results through a stronger understanding of the material which allows them to no longer MEMORIZE, but rather LEARN chemistry and deeply enjoy the matter.

Details
A cancellation of the tutoring session in less than 48 hours would require the student to pay 50% of the amount that would have been given to the tutor for the scheduled tutoring session.
For example, if the student scheduled a 2-hour session, it would be required for the student to pay 25$ which is 50% of the total amount due (25$/h, thus 50$ for 2 hours).

My name is Angela and I am a graduate student at McGill University with a Bachelor degree in Chemistry (B. Sc. from McGill University). I have tutored in the past through student organizations, but also through McGill Tutoring Services, thus providing my students with all the skills that I have acquired over the years. In the last year, I have been mostly tutoring chemistry, however I have a strong background in science (especially in computer science) and I would be more than happy to make your studying a more enjoyable experience.

I really struggled with org 1 and 2 last year but Angela made these courses a lot easier! She helped me increase my scores by a lot by breaking topics down into easily understandable examples and could come up with helpful examples, explanations, and diagrams on the spot to clarify whatever I needed. She was always available for extra help around exam time and helped me identify and work through common problems I had and how to approach the exam. She is also super cool and really nice, so I definitely recommend her!
