About Pratap
I am a passionate educator and an alumnus of a premier, top-ranked engineering university, where I developed a rigorous foundation in advanced mathematics and analytical problem-solving. Alongside my passion for teaching, I bring several years of core professional experience leading technical operations and projects. This unique blend of elite academic background and real-world professional discipline allows me to bring a highly structured, practical, and results-driven approach to tutoring.
Mathematics is often viewed by students as a daunting subject filled with abstract rules. My mission is to change that narrative. Having navigated a highly competitive academic journey myself, I understand exactly where students get stuck, how math anxiety develops, and, most importantly, how to break it down. I treat math as a language of logic; once a student learns the syntax and the "why" behind the formulas, their confidence skyrockets.

I believe that mathematics is not about memorizing formulas, but about developing analytical thinking and confidence. My approach is structured around three core pillars:
Concept First, Computation Second: Before diving into solving problems, I ensure the student thoroughly understands the why behind a mathematical concept using real-world analogies and visual aids.
The "I Do, We Do, You Do" Method: I first demonstrate a problem-solving framework, then guide the student through a parallel example together, and finally empower them to solve variations independently. This builds autonomy and eliminates "math anxiety."
Targeted Diagnostics: I continuously assess a student's weak points—whether it is a foundational gap from a previous grade or a specific logical hurdle, and customize subsequent sessions to patch those gaps efficiently.
