About Arnav

As a dedicated Spanish tutor, I bring not only strong academic skills but also a personal passion for language learning. I’m a high school student with proven success in Spanish and experience helping younger students feel confident and supported. I tailor each lesson to match the student’s level, learning style, and school curriculum. I’m responsible, punctual, and genuinely committed to helping kids succeed—whether they’re just starting out or need help improving. Parents can trust that I create a positive, patient, and productive learning environment where students feel encouraged and proud of their progress.

About the lesson

As a tutor I believe in making Spanish both fun and understandable for every student. Methods that I use to make Spanish easier for students to understand and get better on are interactive learning such as games, flashcards, and short conversations and speaking and listening practice to build confidence fluency.

A typical lesson plan that I can use is conversing a short conversation in Spanish the first 5 minutes as a warm up, work on vocabulary and grammar for 10-15 minutes, then 15 minutes of practice activities such as worksheets, games, matching and writing exercises then 10 minutes of question and answer session, and the last 5 minutes will be a wrap up review.

I am a high school student who has learned Spanish myself and I understand how it feels to learn a new language step by step. I have a patient and upbeat kind of personality and I can use creative tools to make a stress free learning environment for students to join into. I connect well with younger students and create a safe space where they feel encouraged to try, make mistakes and improve.

My lessons are for students from grades kindergarten to 10th grade with proficiency levels ranging from beginner to advanced who need help with school Spanish, homework, or want to get ahead. I also tutor kids who need confidence speaking, reading, or writing in Spanish.

Whether your child is just starting out or needs help building their skills, I'm here to help them grow with encouragement and personalized support.
