About Lucy

Ever since I was I young I have been in love with the French language and culture. The fashion, food, wine, romance, everything ! This passion is what encouraged me to begin learning French and continue to this day. I started at school in year 5 (although u also did it in prep and year 1) and have completed French VCE, the top of year 11 and 12 in French. I have a desire to live, work in study in France and I am planning to do it asap! Given my love for the language I wish to nurture this love in other students and help them to succeed in school and general daily use of French.

About the lesson

Being a recently graduated high school student and being the top of French in years 11 and 12, i am well aware of the structures and requirements of the final years of French studies.French is a subject I am truly passionate about and therefore I wish for all of my lessons to be enjoyable and to nurture that love of the language in my students. Each first lesson, I take the time to get to know the student and what they wish to improve on in their French studies and hence formulate a plan for future lessons. Each lesson I then hone in on one of these topics and record everything learnt and discussed on a shared Google doc. If the student wishes I give out helpful learning exercises to do in their own time which we can then correct together next lesson!
