About the lesson

As a tutor my job is to help a student understand the materials he/she is studying. With understanding comes knowledge and application. I use the methods and techniques developed by L. Ron Hubbard in his Study Technology for helping a student learn her/his materials. It is done one on one, where the tutor first helps the student clear up areas that have not been understood resulting in the student being able to move forward with understanding. Often enthusiasm for the subject and learning in general is revitalized with these methods and the student finding out that studying/learning can be a lot of fun.

About Ralph

I am a retired Computer Technician, I recently returned from South East Asia where I lived for two years. There I became an English Second Language Teacher and worked as such in two schools in Cambodia and an English Language center in Vietnam. While in South East Asia I began tutoring online to English language learners/students and continue doing so now. As an online tutor I work with students of all ages from around the world who wish to improve their English speaking skills. I am a graduate of L. Ron Hubbard's Study Technology Course where one learns how to study and assist others with their study. Over the course of 20 years, applying these study methods, I have helped many students increase their understanding of the materials they are studying, be it courses in executive or technical training, art courses or regular primary and high school courses.

I require at least one hour notice to cancel a lesson. Travel charge after 30 minutes is an additional $2.50 per 15 minutes.
