About Nicolas

My name is Nicolas, but you can call me Nico. I was born in Colombia, where I spent most of childhood and adolescense years. Today, I reside in the United States and I'm a full-time university honors student majoring in Business and Technology.

I'm a language student, just like you! During my high school years in Colombia I went on an exchange program to Australia to level up my English. During this program, I attained a C2 CEFR English proficiency and later moved to the United States to finish high school and pursue my undergraduate studies. My passion for language continues, as I'm currently studying Mandarin Chinese in college with the goal to become trilingual.

Despite my recent academic success, I haven't always been the best student. Back in Colombia, I struggled with subjects like Algebra and Pre-calculous. I had a great deal of tutoring, which is what ultimately helped me conquer these most-challenging subjects. I believe in the impact of tutoring in a student's confidence and success, and I'm committed to providing my best effort and resources to help you succeed.

About the lesson

Everyone is welcome, from begginer to advanced! As a fellow student, I understand the challenges that come with learning a language, so I make sure my lessons are practical and relatable.

I am very flexible—whether you need formal academic support or a personalized plan to achieve your language goals, I'm here to guide you every step of the way!

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and mapping out a strategy that works best for you. You'll learn more about my background and how I can contribute to your Spanish journey.
