About Tori

I fell in love with Spanish because it’s a language that speaks to me on a personal level—it’s a way to connect, understand, and share stories. Over the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of tutoring 7 students, and together we’ve built unforgettable relationships along the way. I scored a 5 on my AP Spanish Language and Culture exam in 2024, earned a 94 average in my AP class, and a 96 in my advanced Spanish class this past school year, which was a level above AP. I’m here for you every step of the way, ready to support and guide you with patience and dedication. My goal is to help you feel confident and excited about learning Spanish, and I’m always available to help you succeed.

About the lesson

My Spanish lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether you're learning basics or perfecting essays. I focus on grammar, vocab, and writing through personalized sessions, clear explanations, and engaging practice. First, you tell me your Spanish goals and what you want to improve. Together, we create a personalized plan to tackle those goals step-by-step. I offer homework help, AP prep, extra help, and beginner guidance. I like to engage my students and create an interactive environment, so I use interactive methods like grammar drills, vocabulary flashcards with real-world practice, and sentence transformations. Instead of just correcting writing, I guide them through their essays with detailed feedback, encouraging questions and revisions. For speaking, I incorporate role-plays and quick Q&A sessions that mimic real-life conversations, helping build confidence and fluency. This way, students actively participate and learn by doing, which makes the lessons more effective and enjoyable.
