I teach everyone differently based on how they learn best. I teach mostly teens and adults be it in person or online. Here's some of my values:
* No rules - What's unique about my self defense course is there's no rules. Everyone is free to do whatever he or she wishes as long as it's practical. I value open-mindedness, complete freedom, creativity, and individuality. My training provides you the complete freedom to practice whatever you like be it techniques, tactics, etc. and test their usefulness.
* Realistic training - Classes consist mainly of training drills and sparring. I emphasize sparring sessions to be as realistic and intense as can be. Training exercises vary depending on the individual's needs. For beginners, i teach them techniques that i learned. For more advanced students, i help them improve their skills.
* Curriculum - Self defense usually consists of situational awareness, unarmed attackers, multiple attackers, hand to hand combat, weapons, verbal self defense, verbal de-escalation, and so forth. It's very flexible.
I'm an upcoming instructor in self defense. I've taught two students so far. I've sparred with others and tested my martial arts skills against untrained opponents. As a result, they learned how to defend themselves more effectively using their own self defense systems.
