Methodology
I teach in a structured way. Once I am able to discover what level a child or adult is at I try to tailor the class to that individual or group. As I mentioned earlier I try to keep the classes interesting and try to add some humor and fun from time to time. I also believe it is necessary for students to do homework so as to retain what we have studied in the classroom. I know many will return to their homes where English is not the primary language. As such the student will need to complete small assignments at home and will be discussed at our next class. We will also review what we previously studied at the beginning of each class.
Just as a professor at my university did for me and other students I'm prepared to help those who are having problems. I will hold a class for those individuals in the same level once a week for 45 minutes free of charge.
Background
I have a BSc in Education and have an extensive background in Business and have taught and tutored both Children and Adults in English. For some adults I have taught business English. My classes are well prepared and try to make them fun with an upbeat tempo. I have lots of energy and believe when studying a subject such as English you need to enjoy the work to achieve the maximum out of the class.
