About the lesson
Music theory and technique can be hard to digest but i make sure to find a way to make it fun and engaging.
We look at different aspects of music theory through songs which students want to learn.
My goal is to make you understand how your favourite pieces of music are put together.
You would idealy be able to see how chord progressions, melody, scales and harmony of a song are intertwined. You would learn to be a pianist/composer, cause that's much more fun

About Pierre
i'm a classically trained jazz pianist, i've been teaching music theory and improvisation techniques for the past 8 years, i have a bachelor degree in jazz interpretation from the university of Montreal. I'm open to every genres of music and love to play and teach each and every style : Pop, rock, boogie, blues, classical, jazz, latin, samba, soul, etc...
